Tanner Swanson set for 2011 "Indiana Midget Week"
Tanner Swanson and the USAC National Midgets are set to do battle for 5-straight nights of hard-fought dirt Midget racing during 2011's "Indiana Midget Week." This special schedule features Indiana Midget action in Gas City, Putnamville, Bloomington, Lawrenceburg and Kokomo from Wednesday June 8 through Sunday June 12.
Tanner Swanson, the 2010 "Night Before the 500" Winner, will be competing in his first Indiana Midget Week. Tanner has made limited starts in the tricky dirt Midgets for TK Motorsports & Team 6R Racing since 2009, but has really increased his experience since the start of 2011. Coming off of solid runs in the "Duel in Dodge City" and "Hut 100," Tanner currently finds himself 10th in the National Midget standings, with a great opportunity to improve that this week.
