Indiana RaceSaver Tire Rule
For immediate release. For the Indiana RaceSaver series only.
The following tire rule will be in effect at the beginning of the 2018 season and will apply to all RaceSaver events on the schedule.This rule will also apply to any events added to the schedule in the future.
The Hoosier RD 12 and D 10 will no longer be permitted for any event. The American Racer SD 38 or harder will be permitted .
If you choose to use another tire brand you will be subject to a durometer check after any event. Under normal conditions tires will be inspected cold. We reserve the right to check tires after any event. If a tire is found to durometer abnormally soft, we reserve the right to take a sample for testing.We will withhold any prize money until a negative test result is received . If a tire tests positive for treatment or doping the following will apply:
1 . All monies and points will be forfeited
2. Suspension for a minimum of the next two events, not including rain outs.
All of our durometer readings are based on parameters obtained from Hoosier tire.
