Spotlighting 2018 Racing Division Sponsors
We are very pleased to welcome new division sponsors who are supporting our racing this season. Although a couple of the entities are fairly new, the gentlemen behind them have many years of involvement at Bloomington Speedway.
Tom White & Company Real Estate Sprint Car Division
Bloomington’s Tom White is a very active and fervent racing fan. After providing some special event sponsorship in 2017, Tom stepped up to put the company name on our 410 sprint car division this season. In addition to his activities at the track, Tom also sponsors several of the top cars competing this season.
A.J. Bowlen Realtor with Re/MAX Acclaimed Properties UMP Modified Division
Many fans will remember AJ Bowlen from the days when he wheeled a Pennzoil-sponsored modified around the Bloomington oval, including his 1997 track championship season. Always a shrewd businessman, AJ is using his Re/MAX Acclaimed Properties business to sponsor the modified division for the 2018 season.
Green Earth Recycling and Composting RaceSaver Sprint Car Division
A new recycling business to the area, its principals are not new to Bloomington Speedway. Kevin Huntley is sponsoring the RaceSaver 305 sprint car division with this spinoff company from his successful Kevin Huntley Excavating firm. Although some may remember that Kevin was a very fast competitor in the early years of the RaceSavers, others will recognize him for his sprint car accomplishments, including a couple of All Stars Circuit of Champions titles in the 1990’s, as well as some memorable USAC victories.
When you see the cars in these divisions battling on the track, it is important to understand that these businessmen are investing in local racing because of their passion for the sport. We recommend that you support these companies whenever you have a need for their services.
