USAC National Sprint Car Series Headlines Friday Racing at Bloomington Speedway
USAC’s AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series takes to the Bloomington oval tomorrow night for their Hoosier-home opening race of the 2018 season. The premier non-wing sprint car series in the country will push off the best open wheel racers, including Chris Windom, the 2017 USAC national champion, Kevin Thomas Jr., USAC’s series point leader, Chad Boespflug, who won last year’s Bloomington event in April, and Kyle Cummins, the sprint car winner on Opening Night.
General admission will open at 5:30 for Friday’s big event and is just $20, and kids 12 and under are always free with an adult. Pit admission is $30 and the pit gate will open at 4:30. Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 6:30, followed by a full night of qualifying and racing, including the winged RaceSaver sprint cars and super stocks.
We are pleased to welcome Brandeis Machinery as a new sponsor to Bloomington Speedway. They have stepped up to sponsor Bloomington’s Super Stock division and also the Indiana RaceSaver feature races for the season. Brandeis will be presenting an extra $50 to the feature winners in both of these divisions if they have a Brandeis decal on their car. We will have the decals available in the pits next week, so they are not required tomorrow. To kick off the sponsorship program, Brandeis is adding $150 to the RaceSaver win Friday, and $100 to the Super Stock winner.
