CJ Leary Nails Sprint Week Race, Dale Hobbs Tops Hornets
July 27, 2018, Bloomington, Indiana – CJ Leary led all thirty laps of the USAC Sprint Car feature from the pole, adding a prestigious Sheldon Kinser Memorial triumph to his trophy case. The event was the sixth stop of the 2018 NOS Energy Indiana Sprint Week.

Dale Hobbs claimed his first win at Bloomington Speedway in many years Friday night, in the Hornet A-main. Tom Houston ran second, followed by Andy Anderson, AJ Hobbs and Jeremy Smith. Leroy Sherfield and Jeremy Smith won heat races.
Next Friday Bloomington Speedway hosts the MARS Super Late Models in a $3,000-to-win program as part of the Hall of Fame Weekend as the MARS series will compete at Brownstown Speedway for $10,000 to win on Saturday. With the AJ Bowlen Realtor ReMax Acclaimed Properties Modifieds, the Brandeis Super Stocks, MMSA Winged MiniSprints and Bombers on the card, we will celebrate our Military Appreciation Night, and host the Building Trades of South Central Indiana and also Bobcat of Bloomington on the hill.
