Sprint Car Trophy Dashes Friday Night!
There have been a couple questions about the format for Friday's trophy dashes. We will have single car qualifying for the Tom White & Co sprint cars and the Green Earth RaceSaver sprint cars, and lineup the heats from the qualifying results with the top three inverted. The heat race winners will go to the trophy dashes. If there are only two heat races for either division, first and second will go to the trophy dashes. The trophy dash results will roll into the feature race lineups.
Chris Flynn at Farmer's Insurance has posted $100 to finish second in the RaceSaver dash. This is in addition to the previously announced bonuses.
The general admission gates will open at 5:30 Friday, with hot laps and qualifying at 6:30 and racing at 7:30. General admission is just $15 with kids 12 and under free with an adult.
A reminder, we will have the pits open after the final races to allow fans to go back and see their favorite drivers and cars up close. With the AVSCA vintage sprint cars also on the program, there will be some interesting machinery to look at. Bring your camera!
