Rained Out Again!
As Amanda posted last night, we will be making an announcement this weekend regarding rescheduling and/or refunding. It was a very trying evening for the track staff as our whole objective is to put on good racing in a great atmosphere. However when the weather turns like it did yesterday, it becomes extremely frustrating. I want to thank all of the fans and the Cook Group and their employees who came out and sat through the rain with us. You are hearty folks. I definitely need to thank the racers and crews who cooperated and supported what we were trying to do. Wheel-packing is never a good thing, and we very seldom do it at Bloomington, but last night it was the only chance we had to race if we had gotten a break from the drizzle. Finally I need to commend the track staff for their hard efforts. We were ready to go and you did your best. No one can ask more.
