Pink Out on Opening Night
The May 9th Larry Rice Classic at the Historic Bloomington presents the USAC National Sprint Cars and the Huntley's Hoosier Wing Sprint Car series. The evening is designated as a Pink Out as we support the Indiana based IWIN Foundation who provides tangible and emotional support for individuals in treatment for breast cancer. This low overhead foundation provides $400 in gift cards in three installments to those in treatment to help them get by. If assistance is needed for gas, groceries, or a massage IWIN is there, Thanks go out to long time USAC owner Patty Bateman who lost her husband Randy to ALS and selflessly made a generous donation to this cause. Also of note is former Lawrenceburg promoter Kim Rudisill who donated $500 in gift cards to Farrah Ann's Boutique (can be used in store or on line) for those who donate on race night. Also do not forget that driver Ashton Thompson will donate a portion of her merchandise sale to the cause. You can also use the QR code on the poster to donate as well.
It is going to be a great night as we get ready for year 102. Let's Fill the Hill and support people in our state that can use our help.
