KEVIN HUNTLEY MEMORIAL WEEKEND POSTPONED!
ATTENTION!!!!! VERY IMPORTANT!
The Kevin Huntley Memorial Weekend for the Riverway Plumbing and Mechanical Huntley's Hoosier Winged Sprint Series has been POSTPONED UNTIL THE WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 5 & 6.
It has rained throughout the week at Bloomington and it rained nearly 1/2 inch last night. A track inspection this morning found the pit lane flooded and presently it is impossible to get on the racetrack. The only way we could race is if it stayed completely dry today and tomorrow and the forecast says otherwise.
ALSO VERY IMPORTANT! If Paragon Speedway can race Saturday the Huntleys Hoosier Winged Sprint Series are still on the card BUT NOTE the race will be a STANDARD payout. However, the September 6 race at Paragon will be for the extra cash that was set for this weekend.
Who knows? Maybe we work hard to bump the weekend up more.
We are all disappointed, However we had to get in front of this so teams planning a long journey did not hit the road.
